Robotics Camp 2023
We’re in the process of organizing a STEM enrichment camp at Casa de Amistad, with a special focus on robotics. In these robotics classes, students will have the chance to delve into both the software and hardware aspects of robotics. Alongside technical skills, the program places importance on teamwork, collaboration, and hands-on research.
We’re fortunate to have several talented members on our Hope4Kids team who excel in robotics training. Chris Zheng, our VP, boasts an impressive record as the captain of C.A.R.T robotics team #51308. Under his guidance, the team secured the Championship Finalist Award, clinched 1st position in Robot Performance at the Regional Tournament, and even earned the Southern California Championship award. Chris’s achievements have been featured in various media outlets (https://www.lajollalight.com/news/story/2023-01-06/la-jolla-students-on-local-robotics-team-eye-international-prize-after-regional-win, https://www.delmartimes.net/news/story/2023-01-17/local-students-headed-to-first-lego-league-world-festival).
